I'm thinking of ordering custom ceramics from BR Poker and wanted to share my concept and get feedback before I make any big mistakes.

The idea is to have a stylized flower silhouettes for each color. I'm intentionally avoiding denominations, text, gradients, and multi-color designs. I want something simple, clean, and understated.

White - Lilly
Red - Rose
Green - Clover
Black - Orchid
Yellow - Sunflower

I'm thinking of finding a designer who can get me SVGs for these designs, then sending those off to BR Poker. BR Poker seems like the top recommended site here, but is there any reason I should go for Poker Chip Lounge, or Poker Merchant instead? I like ceramics, and I'd like the ability for full face printing, but if you think I'm better off adapting my design for CPC or Chip Lab, let me know. I've attached an AI mock-up of the concept.

Cool! I think you're doing the right thing going to a designer to prep it. BRPro is wonderful and this is a cool use of the medium. Great theme.

I don't mind not having denoms but just a warning, without a printed number it they will always be the standard in many minds. 1s whites, 5s red, 25s green, the others can be changed.

Thanks! Regarding "it will always be the standard" -- that's part of the point. The standard is so embedded that denoms are just redundant in cash games, and this set will only be used for cash. That said, I'd be curious about other peoples' experience using non-denom chips in cash games.

Whatever works. I play with apes, so the chip could have a huge $1 on it and they'd still ask what each chip is worth. Regular played for over a year at my game and said "oh shit, the chips have the numbers on em" after months.

Do whatever makes you happy. The chips are cool, but highly advise taking your time before ordering. Get it right, post some designs here and get samples so you know what the colors will look like in real life.

Nice design! And for this kind of design, BRPro is the perfect choice to make it happen. When it comes to no-mold ceramics, they are the best.
