Hi guys, I'm new to the poker chip world and am quite intrigued by the designs of chips used in big tournaments.
Is there an archive or thread where I can find previous years EPT or WSOP chip designs?

Thank you so much! Just what I was looking for. Hopefully someone can come up with one for the EPT as I've seen some glimpses of the chips on YouTube but can't seem to get detailed photos of them.

I think that since EPT and WPT take place in various casinos, the chips vary based on each casino.

I have these chips, I find it annoying they labelled the blue chip as 10k as this denomination is never used in actual EPT.

Just skip the 10.000. ;-) it's useless anyway. ;-)

I've just ordered a set of these in 100/500/1000/5000. Does the actual EPT use red as the 1000 chip?

Yes, but the EPT events in recent years don't use the same set/design anymore.

Looks like in Ept 10 the 5ks might be a lighter blue?

Yeah I found that out after posting my message when I was watching the old EPT reruns. They changed it at some point, but they did use the Blue 10k ~10 years ago. Once they started using the yellow 25k the 5k became the blue chip.

Should be 39mm.

I made one a few years ago for a dealer button design. I’ll have to dig it out of a hard drive so lmk.

EDIT: just realised you’re asking for a database of info regarding the different chips used over the seasons. I’ve also tried to look into it but information seems hard to come by :/

I've created this template myself already with a few tweeks to fit with SunFly PolyClay (debossed) ceramics.

EPT Season 1 (2004)'s Barcelona open seemed to use solid hotstamps.

And then totally different chips at the next event (London) :

So I guess there wasn't a dedicated EPT set for the first season.

From season 2, they introduced their first EPT set (looks unaligned ceramics).

I recently did a group buy through Justin for the EPT chips with the white border a few days ago (1st picture with the EPT Berlin table). The order was for a batch of 25 each of the $25, $100, $500, $1000, and $5000 chips in both 39mm and 43mm sizes. Justin said the minimum order for samples was 25, so I wanted to get a feel how each looked at those two sizes. Can't wait for them to show up, which will likely be in about 2 months. Depending on which one I like I'll order a larger set of about 1000 - 1200. I'll post some pictures on here when they arrive.

Justin's group buy came in and I finally got a hold of the EPT Chips I've been highly anticipating. The design was mind-blowing. Definitely the best EPT Chips I've come across. The last picture is a side by side comparison of the 43mm chips (on top) vs the 39mm chips underneath it.
