For anyone who will be in town over the 12th and 13th, the Charity Series of Poker will be holding two different events. If you need a break from grinding it out on the strip I'd recommend attending one of these. They are very well run, and a lot of fun to be apart of. I'll be there if I'm not working.

I will be attending my first WSOP this year arriving 7/2. It looks like I'll be missing most of the meetup nonsense in June. Private Wynn table for circus games does sound great.

I'm staying at Paris as that's where my friends that play tournaments will be. I'll play at least one tournament as I'm somewhat obligated just to say I went to WSOP. I'm going for cash games and chip harvesting.

A bit of a thread derail but is there any sort of resource re: harvesting. I did search and sent some DMs to other harvesters but there isn't a big LV harvesting resource thread from what I saw. I did read general tips re: poker rooms, social engineering, etc.

I'm looking for:
2-3 racks White $1s [Hopefully a temp solution while I continue search for matching actual $1]
2-3 racks Red $5s [likely Caesars as I can table them with my few barrels of $5s at same time while my search for more continues]
1 rack Purple to relabel as $500 [This would be a permanent solution for this set.]
2-5 Barrels of Pink to relabel as $2,500. [This will be a permanent solution for this set.]

THC > House > RHC.

I don't really know where to start other than by looking up every casino on chip guide to see what they have and then going to each casino website to see if they have a poker room.

If anybody has requests I'll do my best...

WTF happened to the WSOP schedule page? Can't filter by games or buy in level anymore, there's almost no details about each even and the structure sheet links have all disappeared - and the pdfs/pages they previously linked to are gone, couldn't even pull up the one that was still open in a tab from yesterday.

Could someone harvest one barrel of Paris $1s and one barrel of Paris $5s while in Vegas?

I'm staying there so shouldn't be hard as long as it's whatever chips are in wide circulation. PM pics of what you want to make sure we're on the same page.

It's intentional and GG wants you to download and use the app. Very irritating.

Yeah, big PITA! I went on yesterday to print out the structure for the TORSE tourney, as I was gonna steal it for my mixed game tourney last night. Was frustrating not being able to download it and print it out.

And the app sucks :as::5s::5s: why can't they just have the pdf of a structure seat in there? I don't want to feel like I'm paying an online tourney just trying to get tournament details

They are trying to acquire the player base as part of the acquisitiionn̈ but its just made things less convenient and will probably cause them negative goodwill at the end of the day
 
Playing the $1500 Big O event.

I’m not even playing, just sitting here chit chatting. Our dealer was at imperial Saigon (the vault raiders’ chips), giving the deets.

Some fun stories, apparently it was heavily frequented by whales from far east.

Where’s all the chippers at!? Gotta be a huge group playing some of the colossal so far and upcoming $600 plo/he tomorrow.

This week always feels like the heaviest attended in previous years….
 
So I said fuck it. I’m downing double doubles like it’s my job.

My tables having a great time with me. This guy said I’m Barrie, I said no shit in Barrie! He’s looking at my meetups shit and I showed him wabpoker.com.

We’re all rolling, and my neighbors are like do you know who that is? I said I have no clue. They said Barry greenstone? He’s some pro? Wrote a book? I got no clue. But this dude is cool!

Omg this shit is hilarious. I’m having a great time. Barrie and Barrie are sharing photos of our dogs. People keep trying to explain who he is, I got no fucking clue.

I told him he needs to attend weekend at Barrie’s :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Edit - I haven’t drank since last…..idk prob meetup? I tried taking Barrie for drinks but he’s never had a coffee or beer in his life per him. So I guess we need to go for shots? Oh shit, gtg they said i have to leave the are la for color ups.

Barry Greenstein has 3 WSOP bracelets, 2 World Poker Tour titles, and has been a regular in some of the biggest cash mixed games in the world. Great pic with you and him at the table :cool
 
Whelp. That was one heck of an evening. 2 buyins (one at the very very last minute because fomo), maybe many drinks, and apparently I got to sit with a couple different poker legends!?

One liiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle threatened penalty from the floor for having a poker chip in my mouth because it fell in a drink, but other than that smooth sailing!!!!
