NEW WSOP 2025 REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

For all those playing any games of the WSOP, be sure that you have BOTH a Caesars Rewards Loyalty Card AND a registered account on the new WSOP+ app.

As I understand it, you also have to get your WSOP+ account verified with an in-person stop by the WSOP registration windows and showing the proper ID before trying to register (either in person or online) for a tournament. It’s unclear if you can do that final verification at your local Caesars casino.

This is the only way to register for tournaments now… the Bravo app previously used won’t work.

I just went through the process after reading this and honestly, I love the fact that, other than having to do the one time in person verification, you can do it all on your phone and pay using PayPal. That seems a lot easier than the crap you had to go through previously to set up and fund an account.

Nice to hear. I heard there was a crazy high minimum amount to fund the account… which if true seems weird for those only playing 1 or 2 of the low buy-in tourneys or satellites… so curious if you have a comment on that?

Unfortunately, I do not. I am not familiar with this year's process for setting up an account. Once I saw you could use PayPal, I stopped looking. This way, I just leave the money in my bank account and access it as needed. I will take a couple thousand in cash for the cash games, but for tournaments, the PayPal option seems way too safe and easy to go any other way.
