Would you request follow-up on a marked deck? (2 Viewers)

Intentional or not, speaking up is the right move. It is also the reason I go through my decks after a game to check for damage or dirt on the cards. Just to be safe, I also rotate decks so something marked that I may have missed might not get used next session.

I know most people won't do this, but I think it's a good thing to do, and it doesn't take that long.

Totally agree wether it be a casino or home game, speak up and say something about any marked cards!! Cards should be counted and checked over during and after games.

I contact @Annorax back in the fall and, alas, there are no more to be had.

Yup, my source dried up. I'd have bought all they had to flip to you guys since I can't get a home game with people I'd actually trust in my house... Last I heard Texas Poker Supply still has a bunch, but their prices are higher since they have to make a profit...

This happened a while ago, so it's too late now. But I wonder if they looked into it or if I should have pushed them to do so.
This happened at "The Brook" in NH (used to be a dumpy cardroom; then purchased by Nevada company - upgraded and nice. eye in the sky cameras everywhere) Saturday afternoon $75 freezout - great tournament usually gets 90-100 people. This place is FULL of regs. If there's a 100 people there, I probably recognize 75 of the faces.
We were on level 7 - I got dealt a card that I noticed had a big thumbnail indentation. It was a Jack. I took note and said nothing. Very next hand, I caught an A with the same thumbnail mark. It was like A6 or something, so I folded, but I instructed the dealer to put the cards aside. At showdown, the guy next to me played another A with the same mark. I called the dealers attention to the three cards.
He couldn't see it at first. Nobody could see it. I showed him the marks and said "you can definitely feel it and when the light catches it right, you can see it." The dealer then noticed it and called floor. The other players at the table were getting annoyed like I was wasting their time, making something out of nothing. Guy next to me said "if you''re the only one who can see it, why'd you say anything?" I said, "because the guy who's marking the cards can probably see it too." Then another guy, one of the room's better regs said "well don't look at me, I just got back." Which was true - he'd gotten annoyed by something earlier, said he needed a walk, and disappeared for like 30-40 min. Floor replaced the deck, dealer thanked me, play resumed without any further incident.
I'm 95% certain that somebody at that table was marking the cards that day. I mean, I saw three marked cards and they were A, A, J - that's no coincidence. But also, this was level 7 - we'd used that deck for levels 1, 3, and 5 - if those cards were marked from a previous day, I'm sure I would have noticed it during those levels. If somebody were marking the cards that day, I'm pretty sure they could have figured out exactly who, just by looking at the footage of our table for an hour or two. Maybe they did - I'm guessing they didn't; that's resources to spend that are probably thin at a place offering $75 MTTs. But it sort of gnawed at me, that I should have talked to the floor later, explained the whole thing, and asked for followup.
Thoughts?

I wouldn't sweat it that much. Chances are it gone done by accident. Also, if it's that subtle the potential cheater must be really obvious to be staring trying to look for the mark. Which at that point, he's more a dead give away than the actual marked cards themselves.
