Windy Crest Tournament Set (1 Viewer)

Are you sure you can resolve that WC on the edge? That will be pushing it, I think. Might want to have an alternative ready.
Based off the sample sets from GOCC their level of fine printing appears to be pretty darn good. I have no idea what the thickness of the 63mm button is, but you bring up a good point. When I send the artwork in I guess I'll find out if I need a plan B on that one.

The buttons are 5.5 mm thick. I took another look at my pinup buttons, and the detail is better than I remembered. http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/dealer-button-design-ideas-nsfw.7105/

I did just notice that there are only three shoes and "Dealer"s on the edge of those buttons, for some reason.

Prototype of the 1000. The color matching from the mock-up is not there. I emailed GOCC to see what I need to adjust. The prototype looks flat/muted - the pale yellow and peach are not working for me. I'm glad I got prototypes.

Damn these and the cash set are really getting me back on board with denominations on the rolling edge. Very little variance in centering.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the print on the edge. I was a little worried that it would be blurry or inconsistent, but unless you study it, they all look rather perfect. Although a critic would be able to spot a couple of minor flaws.

3rd and 4th chip from the top on the 1000 stack are the only two with a noticeable off-center print. The rest are crappy cell phone camera angles. The $20's all align well.

3rd down wouldn't bother me, but 4th would. Not overly concerned about a 5% error rate (at least following my tolerance level).

Congrats on moving this thing forward! I hope we see a lot more @GameOnChipCompany sets here in the future.

Thanks! All I need to do is adjust the color matching and re-prototype the 1000 and the 5000 before I order.

^^^ Just from the photos obviously, but I agree. I think they look great and it's going to be an awesome set. Looking forward to the real thing.

I am a fan of the final mockups and the prototype turned out good. Me Likey :) Nice well balanced design

IDK, boss...it's your set and you're the one that needs to be happy w/them, but those 1k's look damn fine to me.
Thank you - my only concern is the last of contrast between the colors. If I lighten the base by a shade, I think it will work. The base and the center are just too close - it's missing that pop that the cash 20 has.

Received the second round of prototypes back today. Here is the fixed 1000 on the left, original on the right- much better a tad lighter base color and a darker center, much better contrast. Also the 5000 and the 25 for the hell of it. We're a go, I will be placing my order on Monday for roughly 3,000 chips!
