I've been genuinely curious as to why they don't have home sets any longer. The chips would not be RFID, they would have a retired mold, different edge spots/microdotting, and security measures in general.

They would make a serious killing if they reintroduced non-custom set options, I don't understand why lol. Even if they released and sold brand new paulsons for 3$ per chip, they would make sales. If they sold at 2$ per chip, even I would buy a set and I'm broke!

Not very likely.
Obligatory…

@tranqwillis the short answer is likely never. For the long answer I’d search for the topic, there’s a few threads on this with a lot of good discussion out there.

No.

Cost/benefit analysis means they're not interested in the home retail market.

Retail market: Potential large risks (ie. Attempts of fraudsters to use home chip in a casino and resultant reputational harm, etc, etc.) and minimal benefit (pcf members are a very small niche market vs casino market).

Hundreds of personal orders of ~1000 chips vs one casino order of +100,000 chips.

GPI / Paulson actually brags in their advertising to casino owners that they will not (ever) sell to the home market. They say this makes their chips more secure. So, no, I don't think the company in its current form will ever sell to the home market again.

Will Paulson sell again to the home market? Here we go again
hey we can always keep feeding the spies here ideas
if they see the $20 prices flying around for RPC and SSB and clown chips maybe
they start some new home lines

if they had an eBay store dear god the first year of sales LOFL

One thing most people tend to forget is that even when Paulson did sell to the home market, they only offered a limited color palate and spot options.

So even IF they do, don't expect to be happy with what they offer and IF they do, it would probably be on another non casino mold - like the PAULSON or suits mold.

TLDR: You ain't getting no full color, full spot option, THC mold, customs unless you run some kinda scam (Not like that hasn't happened before though).

Yes Paulson sells to the home market. You just need to try harder.

Several recent cash grabs NAGB have occurred in the last several years.
