ABS is gonna cause alot of pain for umpires this season. Batters know their own strike zone way better than umps.
He got 1-in-4 calls wrong that needed an ump. That's bad. Let ABS call balls and strikes. It'll be way quicker than challenges...and the point is to get the call correct, right?

I won't buy mlb tv until my team has played 10 games. If they are at least .500 after 10, I'll fire it up.

In the past, I’ve not been very close with my extended family. My Aunt and Uncle passed away last year, and all of the cousins reconnected after nearly 20+ years. We got everyone’s number and try to text when possible
My oldest cousin is a bigger baseball guy than I am, grew up in NY as a Yankees fan, but moved to the DC area about 25 years ago. He bought Nationals season tickets for season 1, and has been a pure Nats fan since. He’s had (essentially) the same seats for every season since (same general location between RFK and Nats stadium).
He pinged me last week and stated that we really needed to go to a game, so that’s what we did. Got to the park around 1. No need for beers or food, and our butts never left the seats until the game was over. We talked baseball, family, and life all day. It ranks up there as a truly fantastic day. Later this season, I’ll return the favor, and we”ll catch the O’s at Camden Yards. For some, baseball is just a game, but for others, its more than that.
