What about retro blue, and put a little yellow in it?

I don't want to depart too far from the workhorse chip in terms of colors hence the tiger spots on each one. Also don't want to duplicate base colors from those in the cash and tournament sets. That eliminates peacock, light green, DG yellow, black, green, gray, blurple, arc yellow, bright white, DG pink.

I think charcoal base with peach/white spots or dayglo orange/white spots will look great with that tiger chip. And plain white may actually look better than bright white in this particular application.

DG Orange is very under-appreciated as a darker spot on light-to-medium base colors.

Hmmmm. Of these I’m leaning dark blue but what if you made the smaller spot orange and try a few colors the on wider spot?

I think a charcoal base is actually what I end up doing. It was my first initial gut choice, I'm just going to go with it.

If I have to choose one of those options it would be number four. Get rid of any shared similar colors and it would be better

I really like your Charcoal-Grey-Tiger, it was my first instinct as well… I find the complementarity of the two chips interesting, but I know nothing about Limit chips, or if it might be a problem they are so similar.

Otherwise, of your first picture, I think Imperial blue or Dark blue work best. Perhaps invert the spots colours to make the thin 318 the Tiger ones?

I hope you do not mind, I had an idea seeing your last one with the green, and I have taken the liberty to try something completely different: A DG green base to oppose/complement the DG Tiger, and the three colours of your workhorse…

So I had a similar situation. My radiant red CDI $5 paired very well with the Gardena fantasy charcoal and CDI $500 purple.

Decided to go with the purple.

This one is much better than any of the others so far....imho
Agreed, how does it jive with the DG Tiger workhorse in your opinion? Open to feedback from others as well

I’ll pull out my samples later and check the blue/tiger combo, but I’m partial to orange & blue, so I like the concept.

I would put all my energy into the workhorse chip. The value chip is the future-serial-stalker-in-hiding cousin that no one likes and is only going with you on the luxury safari trip because uncle Bob kept you out of jail for that thing-we-shall-not-mention. He’s not really wanted, but has a lifetime free pass to tag along until married (which will never happen), so you tolerate him… but it’s sooo awkward. Unfortunately, he’ll occasionally show up in the photosdamnit—so he should at least look presentable, but no one’s looking at him- they’re all looking at your gorgeous kids.
