That SY set is beautiful. Maybe too beautiful to felt.
I know what you mean. But then again, I'm not in this to buy stuff I just look at. I felted it and it was a blast to play with. That $5 might be my favorite RHC $5!

This was also the first time I used a murdered chip. It blended right in!

I guess one thing to mention is that there's less talking points when playing with the SY chips. You see, when my players are here, they are essentially a captive audience. And they have to listen to my droning on and on about chips.

With the SYs, I can only discuss:
  • How the lack of a fractional chip required me to murder a JACK Cincinnati
  • How the SY casino was also supposed to include a resort, but they went bankrupt before they could open it
  • How there are lack of $100 chips
  • How these chips were sold to a dealer training company and used in a dealer school.
I mean, those points will only last about an hour and a half. I need enough content to bore the hell out of them for at least 4 hours. With the mixed RHC set, I can go into detail about each and every chip and casino. That's like five times the content.

Just sayin'

Oh wow!!! $100s and $500s! Never seen those before. And cards and tables too!

It's interesting that the roulette chips were still Paulson, but the tournament chips looked like plastics.

Yea.. I never understood why they chose to downgrade on the tournament chips but buy Paulson roulette chips even when they never brought roulette to the gaming floor of the casino. Those roulette chips never hit the casino floor but when I bought out the cage when they closed down, there was over a dozen roulette chips missing from two different colors..... hmmmmmm.... someone kept some souvenirs for themselves?
