2022: I buy a set of 1000 nicer dice chips that I can use for tournaments and cash games, and I join here to show them off. They're the nicest home game chips I've ever seen.

2026: I'm paying more for 100 random starbursts cause maybe I'll use nickels someday, but I also need a bank to cover $6,000 for my .25/.50 game. This place is so stupid.

I think my wincing point was back in '22, my 1st year here. Prior to that I was more than satisfied with my Pharaohs & WTHC sets. I did something stupid: bought a barrel for $15/chip. I thought that was ludicrous

$300 was crazy stupid money to spend on poker chips I thought. But 1 barrel won't get me far so thought I better get another one.

Now I'm thinking 2 barrels won't be enough either. Shit, now I have to buy a 3rd fucking barrel?!?

3 barrels is great but 2 moAr is a rack so maybe I should just get 2 more and call it...

....and I'm still looking for a goddamn rack of both Peach Fracs and Orchid $500
