A buddy I work with just brought me 3 of these. I think they are Paulson super diamonds? Never seen them before. Wonder if anyone knows anything about them? They only say WKF on one side.
Didn’t notice the injection points on them but each chip has one. They don’t feel terrible. I’m curious now if there are more. Those are super diamonds. You can see the ejection mark here, underneath the W.

These sell for under 10c a chip new. You can probably find them for 5c a chip new if you buy in bulk or even cheaper for used.
The giveaways are:
- ejection mark
- the diamonds are really squares turned almost 45 degrees. On the real clay diamond mold chips out there, the diamond is "squished" so it is a parallelogram turned 45 degrees but not a square. See @Marius L 's wanted post for photos of these: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/paulson-diamond-mold-spotted-chips.116675/
They are probably Marion Heavy Diamonds. They made plastic injection diamond that wasn’t half bad.Didn’t notice the injection points on them but each chip has one. They don’t feel terrible. I’m curious now if there are more.
The coworker that brought them in knows nothing about them. I just wonder if there was an exhibition casino locally that used them and where they all went. Would love to uncover a local set with some history even if they are plastic. They are probably Marion Heavy Diamonds. They made plastic injection diamond that wasn’t half bad.
They look like super diamonds to me given weight and ejection mark. What distinguishes Marion's vs. Super Diamonds? Here are a couple retailers selling Super Diamonds as a reference:They are probably Marion Heavy Diamonds. They made plastic injection diamond that wasn’t half bad.
Weight, lol. Also the Marion’s diamonds are “crisper” and they typically have “rubber” flashing on the edge when newer in the box. The super diamonds are a harder plastic that doesn’t have flashing and the diamonds are mushy. Also there’s something about the outer ring, I think the Marion’s is a bit wider. What distinguishes Marion's vs. Super Diamonds?
