I just want to post this. During the 2020 during the Pandemic. While my Miramar CPC set was seriously delayed our site had just been discovering Tina. So a new set idea came into my head based on the "Princess Bride" and CASINO INIGO was born with it's owner & proprietor Inigo Montoya. I was going with a cash set from Tina using the No Mold design. She was only producing the Cash set and then for the Dealer Buttons I wanted 60MM DBs so I went with BRPOKERPRO to produce my DBs. Tim was the artist on here who designed my Cash set and my Dealer Buttons. I had never sent her the artwork for the Dealer Buttons only for the cash set. I received both the Cash set and the DB's and everything was great. Then a few months later the Prestige group came out so I made a Casino Inigo High Roller Tournament sent. No issues there.

THE ISSUE: Tonight I went back to Tina's company's site on Alibaba to check something and found my custom Casino Inigo Fezzik Dealer Buttons on her site as Chips they have produced, The rolling edges even match the sayings and design I had on them. No one has my art files for the Dealer Buttons but 1.)Me, 2.) @timinater the Designer, and 3.)BRPOKERPRO. I never sent anything else to anyone, but people that were able to buy the extra Dealer Buttons I had made. Someone had inquired about making the Dealer Buttons in a sitewide Group Buy interest thread, but @Himewad eventually took over and has ran quite a few of the sitewide DB GB's and my button was never made in any of the GB's. I was willing to let my buttons be remade. I'm pretty OK with that and have let people make my DB's before with no issues. I wouldn't let anyone remake the chips, but DBs ok. It pisses me off that the DBs were made without asking me. I would just like courtesy.

Here are the two scenarios I'm thinking that may have happened. Now that I think of it I am thinking it could be more of option 2.
1.) Someone on here liked my design of my Dealer Buttons and had Tina remake them using the photos.
2.) Tina saw my chip set designs with the Dealer Buttons posted on the PCF and had someone reproduce the artwork and they reposted on there site.

Thanks for reading my long Rant.

My original Casino Inigo 60MM Fezzik Dealer Buttons made by BRPOKERPRO

The Stolen Tina Made Dealer Buttons who had no authorization and not the artwork to make them. This picture was under oversized chips. So I'm assuming they might be 52MM. The picture is not from any table felt I own or have ever seen.

Strange, they didnt print the eyes on these buttons, it's like they didnt make a compound path in Illustrator. If they had the original art, it should have showed up.

These wouldnt be the first ripoffs of someone elses' work. I've seen plenty of DDLM copies on Alibaba, as well as other BRPro designs.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But nah not really that's pretty lame that someone ripped off your design.

Not cool. And I agree it’s probably someone lifting pictures from this site and recreating them. Dang.

No offense or judgement intended whatsoever-- but seriously? This is what Tina does, straight up. Without hiding it and without apology it is the wild west as far as IP goes with that part of the world and it's one of the big draws for people using Tina.

This can not be a surprise.

Love the chips though, bud!! They are awesome. Gives me pillage and plunder vibes.

Also, this:
Welcome to Tina World.

If it was Tina yes I understand that is the thing they do and am not surprised. However, if it was someone on here who asked Tina to make them for them then that is where it gets me.

Yes everyone the original inspiration for my designs were taken from Shepard Fairey. I am old enough to remember when Andre the Giant stickers first came out and were plastered all over the city of Boston when I lived there. He was sued by the WWE and can no longer use the Andre the Giant design. He was making money from his stickers and art posters.

I remember that too. Never understood it until this moment. Freaking skateboarders huh? Now it makes sense.

I'm sincere when I say I don't judge you for how you feel, I get it bud.

Welcome to the New PCF World Order.

Forgive me if I’m being an asshole/stupid, but I’m just genuinely curious. If this is the original design by Shepard Fairey

And below is your design ”inspired” by the original

How could you possibly be outraged by a third party copying ”your” design? Not trying to stir shit up, I just don’t get it. Is there something I’m misunderstanding?

Yes my design is inspired by an artist's original work. I'm not outraged. While it is inspired by the original artists art the design I have for a Dealer Button is still my Dealer Button design. I'm one of the most reasonable people and would let you remake my Dealer Button no issues, but I feel if you are going to make somebody's exact design I think you should let them know or ask them. That is the point of my post.

I can understand you being annoyed that somebody ripped off your design. Whether it's somebody on this site who copied it and then Tina stole it, or whether Tina just stole it directly, it's all wrong. But then, most of what Tina does is wrong.
It's also funny to me that you keep using the word "inspired." I'm sure you don't care about my opinion on that, so I'll keep it to myself. But my point is that I think it's fair game to discuss your design being ripped off regardless.

You’re right, ”outraged” was my word and quite a poor choice here. I can understand being mildly annoyed that someone copied the exact button design but my point was that it, to my eyes, is very far from being an original design and more like a copy itself.

Personally, I think it’s perfectly fine to infringe on copyrights for personal, non profit use, like we do with the cards mold chips for instance. Tina copying the design for commercial use is not cool but I guess I’m saying that if anyone has any reason to be upset about it, it’s this Shepard dude.

It's China. The wild west of copyright. I can order one to one copies of high end shoes, clothing , watches, bags, sunglasses you name it.

I understand your rage! I get pissed off when people steal shit I've already stolen!!!!:wtf::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::sneaky:

I don't want my stuff ripped off directly either, I get it, the chips you might expect, its Tina, but the DB shows intent to make money at your expense. This isnt new, this is why I won't go near Tina with a personal design. I learned as soon as @Eloe2000 posted about it about a year go.

Just for the record, this is my sample, but I paid for design services and 're-created' my own design inspired by .. well you should know being a long time member.

And I would agree the 4 people you posted, wouldn't be likely to share your art, and @Colquhoun points out the dumbness with the Tina stuff.

So..... did YOU ask or let the original artist know?

In this particular case no as this product was a commercial product that the company is no longer allowed to sell or make as they were sued as Andre the Giant is property of the WWE. As I am not making a profit from this or reselling anything to make money so I did not ask the WWE. I have re-made some art I liked in the past into T-Shirts and have reached out to the individual Artists beforehand and gave them a small donation to get the rights to make their art on the shirts.

I see where everyone is coming from here. Put me in the camp that would vmbe absolutely furious if China fake Canoe Club Or Ironbound Lounge dealer buttons or chips were out there in the wild. Technically the artwork belongs to @timinater and @Johnny5 respectively , but I paid them for their work on the designs for my own personal use.

You do understand that's irrelevant, right?

This is an odd threading considering you copied artwork to make the DB. Maybe I’m missing something.
