What stakes do you all play usually?

I go:

Home Cash games .25/.50 NL holdem.

Casino games $1/$3 1-300 spread holdem (no NL around me)

Friendly/Social home games: .25/.50

Degen home game: $5/$5

Casino: $5/$5

I mostly play $200-$500 buy in tournament poker

Homes games mostly .25/.50 sometimes .50/1 and once in a blue moon 1/2.

Casino games mostly 1/2 or 1/3 and when I do well I'll play a little 2/5. All NLH.

Home game $1/$2
Casino $8/$16 limit or $1/$2 NL

I like to play up to 1/2 in all scenarios, but I have played 2/5 when it was the only option

The home game is usually only .25/.25 but with unlimited straddles. Depending on the day it’s like playing .50/1 short stacked.

My local casino I usually play 4/8 limit Omaha.

almost .25/.50 exclusively with a 100 max buy in.

.25/.25 when we occasionally play a cash game. Usually play single table tournament. One day I will convert my friends to cash.

Home games:
NL/PL .25/.50, $125 buy-in
Limit up to 5/10

Casinos:
NL/PL 1/2 (haven't played this in a casino in years)
Limit up to 6/12

Tournaments :ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

$50 two table home tourney followed by a $1/$2 NLHE/NL Omaha-Hi cash game. I spend most of my time playing $1/$3 NLHE and $2/$5 PLO at the casino.

We usually play $1-2 for home cash games in NL/PL, and occasionally mix in some $4-8 limit games. A few of us have occasionally escalated the game to $2-5, but we just barely have a critical mass to run a game that size. I have a larger group of maybe 20 guys, from whom we usually get about 12-14, who play $100 tourneys with rebuys about once a month.

No casinos in Utah, closest casino game is about 100 minutes away on the Nevada border, and it's almost exclusively $1-2 NL. I play $1-3 or $2-5 NL in Vegas when I'm there.

We play every 6 weeks, $80 buy in 30 seat tournament then we play $1/$1 unlimited straddle cash game. The biggest straddle we've seen was $16 I believe - 95% of the time, we play $1/$1/$2 and there is anywhere from $700-$3,000 on the table at the end of the night - friendly but a nice game - usually the same guys play cash - a lot will only play the tournament & leave.

I'm going to host an 9 seat with a rented dealer, initial $300 buy in, $1/$1 straddle game and players can re-load or re-buy up to the largest stack on the table - this game will play more like a $1/$3 game I'm sure.

Home games are $0.25/0.25 or $0.25/50

Casino games are usually $1/2 NL

Home: .25/.50 NL and occasionally 1/2 Limit ... Although trying to push for 2/4, especially in hi/lo games.
Casino: 1/2 NL

Primarily 5¢/10¢ cash.
Every now and then we’ll do 10¢/20¢ or 25¢/50¢.

Tourneys are usually Holdem or PLO8: T10000 with rebuys or deepstack games with no rebuys. Buy in ranges from $5 to $15 with bounty.

I'm a relatively new host. I'm in recruiting mode but I've managed a few small games and we have done :

.10/.20 - not bad...but really... impossible to really get good action. Every pot is the same. Just my experiences. It's a bit too low

.25/.25 - the favorite. All 6 that came to play in this game I had enjoyed it.

.25/.50 - I feel this is the best stake for fun no frills home games. Good for most average players. These are just my experiences.

Some years ago, I ran a .50/1.00 game that was just too crazy. Pots got a bit out of control and there was 1 individual who left upset. So, I won't run a game like that unless I finally get a group that wants it and understands it.

At the present time, for a game I'm trying to grow...it's NLHE Bounty tournaments. It's what most people want and it's easier to budget for these games instead of possibly losing the whole wallet.

Home games: 1/2 , occasional 2/5 when short handed
Casino: 1/2 , 1/3

Online: 50nl, 100nl, 200nl, 500nl, and occasionally 1000nl. 200nl is my sweet zone

Still trying to get the game regular, but usually a single table tournament. We kinda pick the buy in every night based on what everyone is comfortable with. 1/1 when we venture to cash. As we get more regular I hope to convert to cash more. The rule I’m likely to implement is that if we have <8 players tourney, 8+ cash
