I am not a fan of country music. I was exposed to Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings while camping as a kid by "The Mayor" a Southern Baptist, guitar playing, outlaw country singing, ice cream making, refrigerator repairman who loved entertaining people around the campfire, racing boats and getting high on life.

Those days and evenings will live with me forever.

I was fortunate enough to see Lou several times. He was a great song writer. I don’t think he really got the credit that he deserves. Always had a killer band. Especially loved seeing him when they were touring the Rock n Roll Animal Album

Saw Chuck years ago in a small club in LA. It was awesome! However, it was also one of the loudest shows that I’ve ever been to. Sure this contributed to the tennittus that I have today.

Young and dumb at the time. When live music comes back again, use ear plugs!!!
