What are the best plastic cards money can buy? (4 Viewers)

What issues? I have one of the earlier versions of his cards that has more texture and agree it does not slide great on felt, but it was not made with Fournier stock (forgot which stock it was). Fournier stock should be fantastic. One of his earlier iterations on Fournier are some of my favorite cards and I think they were made circa 2012 or something. If that is the issue I think it has much more to do with the cardstock than aging.

I purchased 6 setups, 3 poker sized and bridge sized.

My experience with the initial decks were excellent. So much so that they became my top recommendation for best value for money deck. At the time my only issue with Desjgns were the (slightly) quirky fonts which were less straightforward to read than other layouts (a matter of taste, I readily concede).

Enter Covid and the lack of games therein. The unopened decks were kept in a closed shoe box along with several sachets of dessicant gel in a dry closet. (I live in a tropical environment and the room they are stored is only airconditioned for about 12-16 a day.

About a year ago I gave one setup away as a gift and opened another setup and introduced it to my now-regular again game.

I played and dealt with both decks. Biggest issue was the surface texture of the cards, significantly when dealing the flop. Every time the 3 cards are placed down and you try to spread the 3 cards, they would not spread much at all. Lots of friction and you had to spread them using your individual fingers instead of fluid motion. Some minor friction in pitching them as well.

I'm looking to host a game soon and while I can't afford a set of Paulsons yet I figure I can get some nice cards.

Lately I've been playing with some broken arrows and they are fine but man they get dirty quick.
Have your guests wash their dirty D*@K Be@%r$, I mean hands...
