So I got these over a decade ago at a garage sale for like, 30$ish. I’m not a massive poker person, I just got them on a whim cause me and some family played on occasion and the lady mentioned they were clay, they certainly felt nicer then the usual poker sets.

Now however I just, don’t play at all really, and these are just sitting in my closet and it feels like kind of a shame and a waste. Was hoping to get any information I can and/or options for what to do with them. It’s an old photo but I can get more later when I’m back home if needed

Personally I’m more interested in the case. Is that a Lowe?

The chips themselves would probably sell easily for $100. Possibly closer to $200 to the right buyer. Not a gold mine, but good stuff.

CPC is "Classic Poker Chips" and has been owned by many different folks under different names all the way back to the early 1900's.

I believe this Flowers / Floral mold was first made starting in the 1940's and was marketed by "George & Co" while the chips themselves were manufactured by Burt Co (predecessor to today's CPC). This mold was in use all the way to 2004 based on my records, and I think still exists but is not in production.

Basically they're old wonderful clay chips made by one of the big chip makers. Looks like they're in great shape. Given their material, they're sensitive to water damage and other degradation, but based on the photos are in great shape.

I have recently acquired a large group of these that I'm going to make into a set.

Most of the solids have been milled and are ready for labels. And mine are a little heavier than what @mike32 mentioned. The red and white solids are 8.8g and the yellows are 9.3g. The spotted ones are a little lighter, but the only ones under 8g are those fancy black with pink and white spots. which are 7.8g.

I paid about 30 cents each for the solids and 50-60c for the spotted ones. I have all I need right now to make my set.

@GodStillBlesses also has some of these and might be looking for a few more.
