Vegas poker-palooza 2015 - A Song of Vice and Ire (2 Viewers)

I am heading to Las Vegas for 8 days Feb 14 - 22 for my annual veterinary conference and poker bender. I will be attempting a semi-live trip report depending on how well Tapatalk is working. If that fails (likely), you can follow me on twitter @k9dr. Since my wife will not be joining me this time, I will be slumming it at 3 different hotels - Hampton Inn for the first Saturday night, then on to The Orleans for 4 nights, and finally at Casino Royale for the last 3 nights.

I usually play poker for 8-10 hours each day - primarily 1/3 NL at Aria and Mandalay Bay + tournaments at Aria and Venetian. If I am running well, I will play some 2/5 NL and some 1/2 PLO. I also hope to play in some of the Venetian Deepstack tourneys if I have enough time.

Other than my conference and poker, I have no real plans - just 8 days of freedom and degeneracy. :

Good luck! The Wynn has some nice tournaments and is a good place to play at as well.

I like tourneys at the Wynn - bubbled last time I played there. The daily tournaments don't get as many runners as Aria or Venetian, so the tourney usually only lasts 5 or 6 hours instead of 9 or 10 hours. They also have the lowest admin fee of all the dailies.

I hate the TSA. When I visit my family in Arizona we always go to Vegas in the summer. It takes about 3.5 hours from the time you leave your home until you are waiting for baggage. The drive is about 5 hours. That is a no brainer and all the liquid and chips you can carry!
