Got back home, re-packed, then drove 5h with my daughter to Hemavan
Got back on Sunday from Hemavan, re-packed, then left first flight Monday morning on a short notice business trip to London.

Landed Monday noon, was in a rush, and managed to trip on a curb and broke my shoe just before the first client meeting. Always a good first impression to walk in with broken shoes!

Found my favorite Shawarma place from the good ole days, still going strong!

Had some evening jogs. I had forgotten that they lock the parks at night (unheard of where I live) and got myself locked in! Had to climb the fence!

My wife ordered me to bring home british bread, it's sooo much better than Swedish!

The super-glued shoes held on for dear life, but made it through the week! The burial was emotional but beautiful.

Three weeks away from home, it feels really good to be back!

Greek Bicentennial +5 years. 25 March 1821 when the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Turkish Empire started.
The revolution came to an end and a modern Greek state was internationally recognised in 1830, but, in Greece, we tend to celebrate the initial decisions of people to die in combat, rather than the final succesful (or any) outcome.

A holiday, and nice opportunity for a visit to the Naval History Museum:
Armoured Cruiser Averoff, the last surviving ship of that class world-wide, responsible for destroying the Turkish fleet in 1912-13

Good to warm one's bones by the fire, after a day in the mountains. That's the living closet:) of my 1895 great-grandfather's home in Pesta:

My grandparents were from Castellammare de Golfo. I’ve been to different places in Italy but never to Sicily. Hope to visit there one day. Enjoy!

Recent trip to Vegas with the wife to celebrate her birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. She wanted to hang at the pool all day and then we went to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere and then Kenny Chesney at the Sphere the next night. Not a lot of time on the tables, but played one night in the WSOP cash game room at Paris.

The Sphere is absolutely amazing..... if you are in Vegas, I don't care what show or artist is there, go for the experience.
