Upright storage, Pelican 1400 and Pelican 1200 (or Apache) chip racks and inserts for 3d printing (2 Viewers)

I haven't done anything for 43mm. I did a design for an Apache 3800 case that holds 1200 chips or 1000 chips and cards, etc. for a traveling game. I should do a write up of that and post the model files but I have been quite busy lately. Here are some teaser photos that may get me working on this quicker.
i had my buddy build me the racks like you made. i fit 1440 chips in my 3800. 39mm chips plus 2 decks of cards and a dealer button. its heavy but not terrible. I'm sure when I'm 80 i wont want to be lugging it around.

Hey Ken - did you ever get around to designing a 43mm version? Or the bottom insert for the 3800? Thanks!

Here is a couple of tray models I have been working on for this purpose but most trays will work for this Apache case. These are 210mm x 75.6mm x 30mm tall with no chips.

Two piece "surround" version:

Two piece "side separate" version and flat tray:
https://www.printables.com/model/1782353-poker-chip-39mm-tray-easy-print-on-side

These are both very easy to print with no supports. They click together but CA glue can help.

Inserts for the Apache 3800 cases coming later.

That’s awesome! Thanks Ken for the time and helping the community with your sweet storage solutions. I am patiently waiting for the (hopefully) Harbor Freight 40% off Apache case sale coming up soon???? Last year it was around the 3rd week in July. Stock up on 3800 and 2800 this time as last time I got 4800. After packing 1100 chips into the 3800, man that is heavy!!
