UK Rounders variant (2 Viewers)

Was having a play around a rounders variant for when CPC is up and running again. Was working with the standard colours, but then thinking of a fox I thought to myself, why not go full English with it?

Though you’ll find standard Vegas colors at some of the casinos here, overall the colours (yes with a “u”) vary slightly:

£1 - Blue / Yellow
£5 - Red
£10 - Green
£25 - Black
£100 - Pink

Thoughts?

I'd go with the original CPC red/yellow for the £5, and the original black/green for the £25. They are both good looking combos and give the set a call back to the original.

For the £100 I'd go with the dayglo pink CPC uses on the $1 - again it calls back to the originals, but I think its also more similar to the London £100s I've seen, and its more different to the £5.

I'd use the original $500 too, I guess I like the originals . So then I'd consider some kind of yellow for the quarter, though yellow is usually 50p, I've never seen a quarter in the UK.

I’ve managed to snag a sample colour set, so will play around with the colours in person.

I think you’re probably right with the DG pink. It’s been a while since I’ve been around London casinos, but I do recall £25 blacks.

The purple 25p is an Aspers thing, LCI/Caesars back in the day was grey. You’re right though, they were pretty rarely used from what I remember.



Played around with the colours some more and added some other chips for completeness. I tried to choose colour combinations from Mayfair casinos from the 70s (Aspinalls, Palm Beach, Les A, The Rendezvous).
