Just occurred to me, in my humble collection of casino singles I have two different Paris chips. First light blue with small inlay and second- dark blue with large inlay. Is the light version a current one? When did they transition? Which do you think would be easiest to collect? I’m aiming to collect at least a rack.

The THC with smaller inlay is the current. They changed their current lineup just before the start of the 2022 WSOP.

I bought a couple racks from @FickieRowler in this thread:

Great chips, great seller.

To not creating new threads- are they doing any higher denominations than $1 and $5? What about $25 and $100

Ah yes, I see all denoms now, although they still use old designs for 25/100 right? So they are obtainable.

I've been to the Paris a few times over the past 10 years or so. AFAIK, the darker blue (RHC) with larger inlay hasn't been used since before I started going, I don't recall ever seeing any darker blue $1s in circulation there -- all the $1 chips have been light blue. The light blue THC is the one that is currently used, and is (or at least in recent times was) now much easier to harvest since the 2022 WSOP, as Paris added poker rooms and made a lot of $1s for use at poker tables.

Before that, there was no poker room, so the $1s didn't exist in large quantities, and basically had to be harvested a few at a time from at table games or from the cage, but it wasn't easy to do.

Tah, that’s great news! There’s big change I’ll be coming to vegas in August. I might try to get some $5.

I’ve heard stories about difficulties to harvest $1 from Paris years ago, I’m glad that changed now, from our perspective
