Tropicana LV $1 Chip Purple/Pink spots - texture not like Paulson? (1 Viewer)

I have 2 of them and while they look pretty, and look like Paulsons, they texturally don't feel anywhere like Paulsons. They don't ever have a powderiness to them, and aren't satisfying at all to play with in the hands. Are these not made by Paulson, or is it just this cream colour feels different to the other colours?

Paulson compression molded clays, even with the same composition, can feel very different depending on on the mold. RHC feel different than THC, and each Paulson house mold respectively can have their own feel. Add to that the normal wear of the chip (which can make old RHCs look and feel almost plasticky), grease and grime on the chip (hooker juice), or new factory dust and sometimes factory sticky gunk, etc, etc.

Rest assured that chip is a Paulson.
