Selling these for a friend.
These were purchased new in the early 90's (single owner).
Chips are barely used and in excellent / sharp edge condition.
There are different versions of these with different weights.
These are the heavier leaded version. Weights range from ~10.3 to 11+ grams

$1 x 100
$5 x 100
$10 x 100
$25 x 100
$100 x 100

$3750

Prefer to ship within the US - Shipping via USPS priority
PP F&F or add 3% if paying with G&S

Have a few spares of each chip if the buyer wants to add them.

Amazing! How hard would it be to find more matching $1s and $5s to make this playable?
They can be found (though if you want to keep with the heavier leaded version, might have to do a bit more searching)
Also, would it be criminal to relabel the $10s as fracs?
Suspect you'll receive opposing viewpoints to this question ;)
Nothing lasts forever...

They are out there by the thousands, maybe 10's of thousands...

Much less frequent to see these than years ago. Right before Dennis @ TRKing retired he had a lot of left over inventory (many thousands of these) that I/anyone could have purchased for probably 75c/chip. Back then that seemed like a lot... lol

Lol....
Depends upon who you are talking to.

Sadly.....

To me, the coolest characteristic of the TRK small crown is the smooth transition from clay to inlay (and without a recess.) It seems almost magical to me. Since this can never be duplicated with a label, yeah, I think it's a crime.

But this set is gorgeous. I wonder how long it will last.

It wouldn't be criminal — just very, very hard and time-consuming. Fantasy line TRKs have multiple layers that are an absolute nightmare to get rid of — not least the bottom paper layer.

So are these actual casino chips? Seeing that these are mint condition I assume they're not ans are fantasy chips made for the home market. Is that correct?

This is why I shouldn't post without checking for new messages. Thanks!

Anybody have a spare time machine that I can borrow? :ROFLMAO:

Damn…. I was about to open a thread for one or two barrels of TRK $1 chips, and I also had the Kings crown $1 with the brown spots in mind…. If there will be a split, I would LOVE to take the 100 x $1 chips …. :x Oh my , what a set!!!!

The Kings Crown was a planned casino, but apparently never fully opened. Chips were made for the casino, but it is believed they were never put in play.
They were sold to the public and the inlay was subsequently used by TRK to create several different cash and tournament versions of the chips on the Small Crown Mold to be sold retail.
