I like inlaid clay chips. There's something about them that speaks to my soul. I've got most of the inlaid clay chips I want from casinos now. Worldwide there are less than 30 on my radar. But my collection of customs is sad:

That's it. (I'm not even sure where a couple came from, especially that scrown.)

I really need to add to that. So, here's where you trade me yours. I have no customs to trade, but I do have these.


I'll honor whatever conditions you put on your chip. You say no photos, then no photos (though it will go on display in a UV cabinet). You give it to me and say you want it back at some point, fine by me. Remember, I have no interest in a sample set. (If you look closely, I am getting rid of all of mine.) I just want your fracs. Whatever currency it is in. I'll trade a decent chip for a frac that is out there already - even a common but good-looking frac is worth more than a bicycle tire PCA $5 primary chip. And I'll trade a nice chip for something that isn't in public hands, or if there are few. If you see something that interests you, let me know. Cash can be worked into any trade I would think. All these chips will be for sale some day, but I don't have time for that this week.

Thank you, my friend. I don't expect much, but the answer is always no if you don't try!

I had it in my mind to make a small set of Catfish Bend (with the fishies on the inlay) chips. RHC I generally do not like, but chips like these with textured and pretty inlays I quite fancy. They are all over the place as affordable singles. But with the Matsui group buy and all the fracs I just bought, it was necessary to go Marie Kando on them. They are now a project for somebody else.

The second row less so. These are either live, or I've seen them for sale a bunch, or I know where some are.
The last two rows are foreign chips. I have a line on up to half of them maybe.

I've made Nevada a low priority, since I will never finish that state (barring great fortune or a financial windfall). I can afford the rest (if I ignore a few Gardena chips, which I have). I've got a few NV chips, but except for the affordable 25c Horseshoe arodie and the two Stateline Saloon chips, nothing is terribly interesting to me.

I just picked up the Holiday Inn Gaborone, and it is in the mail. Hands down it is one of my favorite chips. I have been looking for it for many years. The hotel has been closed as a holiday inn for many years, and is now the Gaborone Sun. It looks fresh out of the 1960’s. I drove there once from sun city just to check out the city. Not much there. Northern Botswana has more to see and do.

You have good taste. I saw the chip for the first time the other day. It caught my eye, and I thought it would look good with the others on my shelf. It has been on my want list for literally two days.

There are more inlaid fractional chips from Nevada (about 90-100) than the rest of the world outside North America combined. A chip like that is a rarity. And it's from Botswana!?!

Haha I know who you got your Botswana 25c chip from. I just asked him about it today to see what he knew and he told me a story about a guy who he just sold one to who had been looking for one for years. Small world.
