I'll probably be placing a losing bid for those damn secondaries. I love me some quarter pie and tri moon chips, and to get them both in the same set would be sweet.

Hahahahaha I thought I was bidding low,bet I was the highest

I would be willing to trade rack of .50 chips to one of the other winners as i don't use in my game. looking for some Native Lights $500's or Relabel chip for $500

I'll also be letting go the 50 cent chips if anyone is interested pm me , or if any of the other winners want to trade for 5$ denomination or 25$ denomination. Also I'd trade 1 rack of the $1 denomination for 5 or 25

I wonder what the highest bid was?

There was one bid that clearly out bid everyone.

Jim

It was from infrequent poster, @Dr.Evil

Hahahahaha ^

I was actually only a little more then clearing price

Should be contest = closest to the winning price without going over --- gets a prize.....
We're such a bunch of degenerates. Yes, that's a great idea.
32 bids
The clearing price for the 7 sets is $1665.00
There were 3 bids that missed the clearing price by less than $25.
it went really well, so we will try it again for the Native Lights Secondary chips
So we have the following wager opportunity for the next one:
  • total number of bids
  • final clearing price
with tie-breaker: number of losing bids within $25 of clearing price

$10 per three-part entry (enter as many times as you like). Two winners paid from the pool: the entry guessing the correct # of total bids and the entry guessing the final clearing price. If no exact guesses are submitted, the closest guesses to the actual numbers (in both cases) win. Tie-breaker only used if needed. If no tie-break guess is supplied, it will assumed to be zero.

If somebody nails both, they sweep the pool.

That be awesome.

Anyone that won a set willing to swap there $25 or $5 rack for my $0.50 rack? Maybe Jim could do it before he ships out

Damn, now I am sad I did not put in a bid, final was less than i would have thought, I was figuring $2k.

Yup. I thought there would be plenty of people willing to pay over 2 bucks a chip for a matched set of mint Paulsons.
1) buyers are forced into a breakdown
2) there are six or so other people on the PLANET with whom to trade or buy or sell in order to change it
3) no 25c or 500 chips

1-3 earned you a discount on these. RHC mold kept out some bidders too.

Also, I think a few are waiting for the Secondary NLs.... Those 1s and 5s are calling a few people.
