Good Day fellow chip enthusiasts!
I'm connected with a monthly poker league and our current chips (Custom labels on Majestic China Clay blanks) are not holding up well.
After ordering some hybrid ceramics samples, these might be the answer for a much needed new tournament set.

Not counting the group buys, can the chips themselves be customized for preferred colors and edge spots, or are the released in predesigned sets only?
Our setup uses 1400 chips and we can't afford Classic Poker Chips, but I've been using their design tool to develop some color schemes that we like.

Really?? - So let me get this straight
1. We can customize the colors and edge spots.
2. They will also print and attach custom labels from our artwork.

Follow up Qs
A. Are the prices on the monthly group buy posts correct for that?
(45c per chips for blanks and 47c per chip + $80 to include labels)
That seems like a super great deal compared with engaging a separate label producer.
B. Are the prices potentially affected by tariffs etc?

1. Yes
2. Yes.

A. Yes
B. Only if you get air shipping. Otherwise no. How? Don't ask.

How are they so affordable? China and bulk pricing.

What's the catch? Order to delivery is like 3 months.

Shoot me a pm when yours open up and we can discuss. The options are wide open.

Just a note that color matching the label to the chip is hit and miss (mostly miss). Better (from what I understand) to use a single base color (like black, white, etc.) for the label for all denoms, rather than trying to use the chip colors as different bases for each denom. But this is only from what I have read here, not from personal experience.

Others have given you great answers above.

Caveat is that the Tina labels are ok, but not to be compared with custom labels from @Gear who offers laminated and textured labels that are FAR superior to the Tina labels. As you can probably imagine, given the big price difference. If you have samples of Tina hybrids, and you're satisfied with the labels, then go for it. There is no greater bang for the buck around here. If you require a truly premium label, then go with Gear. You get what you pay for.

Others have answered this also.

We have the "Monaco 43mm" sample set from Apache
Labels seem pretty acceptable on those. Are the standard labels from the chip supplier the same?

At his pricing, We're definitely leaning toward adding them and evaluating after a few months

Yeah, you just need to get them in your hands for answers. I have a shuffle stack of web and a shuffle stack of Greek mold. Cover shipping and they are yours basically for free.

Consider hiring a designer here on PCF like @Okku who can help you with
-label design
-color picking, including matching chip colors to label colors
-possible direct ordering if timing with the group buys isn’t convenient
-other general guidance

Many folks here have done it all themselves which is great, but often there’s laments of “I spent 20 hours trying to use photoshop… and it still wasn’t perfect”

can the chips themselves be customized for preferred colors and edge spots [?]

I've been working on creating a design tool like the Classic Poker Chips tool that will generate output suitable for printing from printing on Tina Hybrids. It's not quite ready for the public yet, but I'm hoping to get it in front of the community in the next week or two. Check out the thread about it here.
