I've been lurking on this board for a few days. Finally registered so I can hopefully join a group buy. My question is, is there a textured Tina hybrid no mold? I was gonna go no mold till I saw the RHC texture. Could do without the mold, but I'll take it for the texture.

BTW this board is great. I've learned more than I thought I wanted to about chips in just a couple of days. Looking forward to purchasing my first set!

"No Mold" implies no recess for label. Nowhere to put a label means it isn't a hybrid.

I'd say BRPro makes a textured no mold but it isn't a hybrid.

No it doesn’t. “Mold” refers primarily to designs or symbols debossed into the outer surface (shoulders) around the chip, though whether or not there’s a recess is also part of the mold.
I haven’t seen a Tina hybrid no mold yet. Sunfly makes them in multiple sizes, though I don’t remember them being textured.

I’ve seen them and remember some posts but do not know if they are available for order. I could see a Wynn charity tribute if they were.

Yeah, I've definitely seen plain hybrids on here. Almost went with those till I saw the texture on the RHCs in a close-up photo. Thinking it'll make them a little less slippery.

I would get samples of everything you're considering. While the texture could make it less slippery because of the bumps, that may not be the case as they wear. Sometimes having a flat surface is preferrable for grippiness (more surface area).
Like race car tires...completely smooth for a better grip on the road.
Again, get samples!

Does the plain hybrids allow printing on the full surface of the chip? Or because it is recessed, does it require a separate label?

Printing doesn’t transfer into the recess well at all, because there’s no contact during the dye-sub process. And some hybrids also have injection mold points in the recess, so a label is required.

No Mold Hybrid. No Mold as in Plain. No hat&cane, no web mold,
NO MOLD HYBRID.
