Web mold vs Turbo vs Textured No-Mold (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, decently new to this forum because I got into looking at poker chips and I like to look around.

I want advice and gauge what is the consensus chip as of late. As the title says, I'm debating between tina hybrid web mold chips, these Turbo Ceramic from the Poker Store, or Textured No-mold (or Hat & Cane) Tina's. I have samples of all but the Textured No-Mold, as I forgot to add it in my recent order from Justin. I REALLY love the look of the Turbo Ceramic, and currently they are the same price as the tinas, and I don't have to pay for labels or huge shipping, so really it is cheaper. Do others like the Turbo Ceramic over any of the tina's, or is it safer to go with tina.

Side note on the Tina's specifically, is the web, greek, sun mold, etc preferred over H&C or No-Mold?

I'd appreciate any input!

I've handled all of these and while I also like the design of the Turbos, the 1k chip kind of killed it for me, the white on yellow just doesn't work.

As far of the feel it really just depends if you like the feeling of an inlay or not.

Personally I think the hybrid Tinas are much better.

It’s to my understanding that the No Mold and a version of the H&C have printed logo rather than a sticker (Orange Rio dupe pictured above). I think those are the middle ground between the turbo ceramic and the Tina hybrid molds?

I have a large set of Turbo chips that we still sometimes use for tournaments. They are bright and colorful and I like that. Over the years I have added onto this set. The original ones I have are a textured finish and some of the newer chips I have received are more of a smooth finish. I prefer the textured chips but I doubt any of my players would notice the difference. That being said, I love the Tina hybrid chips and am looking at purchasing a large custom tournament set for our next league set. They feel and look more like a traditional clay chip. I feel that they are slightly nicer chips in my opinion. The Turbos are OK but the hybrids are a step up. Both would make a nice set and it is really up to you what you like best. No mold/plain/ smooth mold hybrid
And Hat&Cane hybrid

Yeah, the "Textured No Mold" Tinas are very similar to the smooth Turbo chips - like Mr Boosh mentions there seem to be both smooth and very textured versions of the Turbo chips. Idk if your sample has the differences but in my sample it's obvious there are different materials. Here's the Tina No Mold, Turbo "smooth" and Turbo "textured" left to right, hopefully this preserves enough quality for you to see the surface:

Like I said I also love the Turbo design but the 1k chip is just such an eyesore.

Both the Turbos and the No Mold Tinas have a spinner or 2 in the samples I have, the Hybrid Tinas are the way to get away from that if you care.

Plus, the printing on the label on the hybrids is far superior to direct printing on the standard no-mold or cards mold ceramics.
