Time to "Ignore" PCF (1 Viewer)

I've been reaching for the ignore button frequently over the last few months and it finally dawned on me that it would be easier to just ignore PCF altogether. Chip prices have reached levels that allow me to only afford the cheap crap, but over the past 12 years of chipping I've acquired expensive tastes. I have virtually nothing in common with the majority of the members here beyond chipping, so if I'm not chipping why am I here?

There is so much noise on the forum that it's reminding me why I got rid of Facebook (the only social media I had). Wading through thousands of useless posts to find the few good ones is no longer enjoyable. I'm finding myself responding to some of our resident "experts" in ways I shouldn't be, so maybe a self-ban might be the way to go here before I become a problem a moderator has to deal with.

I don't think there are any outstanding deals I'm involved in, besides the Crown Plaza samples from @allforcharity which I'm certainly still good for. Please send a PM if you haven't heard from me by the time they arrive, I'll get the notification in my email. Also waiting for @pltrgyst to find the racks of Delta Club $1's he apparently has, though the coronavirus will probably get him before he finds the racks.

This could be a short lived departure as I've really enjoyed chipping since 2008. If it goes the way getting rid of social media did, I won't miss it for more than a day. Y'all might be stuck with me coming back though if I miss this place, there's still a few people here that create content that isn't maddening

The Politics section is quarantined for good reason. At the very least it is worth sticking around for the various great chip porn and home games threads that are updated regularly.

Hey Hdgeno. Just read the latest posts on the Coronavirus thread. Didn't mean to troll you.

Maybe I am part of the problem. I get a kick out of the way people respond to others, like your rejoinder to Senor Tony.

Banter happens when people don't see eye to eye on a variety of subjects. Doesn't have to be politics, could be sports.

The point is to take it in stride.

Don’t do it, I joined just to engage in the thread a few days ago, after avoiding it since it was created, I think unjoined about 48 hrs later. There’s not any discussion going on, just chest beating
