I'm new to this, so decided to go with ceramics (cost reasons mainly).
Just ordered (haven't received yet) a 300 set of Empire from Apache (mostly for the looks/colors and weight). However, I see that Tiki Kings might be a better quality. And then I saw the SF Polyclay (Ravenor classic).
If anybody owns (or have samples) of the above, what is your opinion on the quality of Tiki vs SF Polyclay? or better yet of all three?

There are mostly 3 types of ceramic chips.

For plain ceramic, I prefer BR Pro (the maker of Tiki King's).
SF PolyClay is a debossed ceramic which I personally prefer over a plain ceramic. The grip of the SF PolyClay is fantastic. I never experienced a single spinner in SF's PolyClay.
There are also SF PolyInno (hybrid) chips which are fantastic.

These 3 are very good and it's all about a matter of preference.

No clue about the others but the Tiki Kings are awesome and I'm not just saying that as a sales pitch because I'm selling mine. They are vibrant, colorful and sound & feel great. I'm only selling because I have 8 other sets and I'm not mixing these in as much.

Disappointment .. first response should always be... Get Samples, they will be yours. Others opinions are nice, but don't matter nearly as much.
That's true; however I needed something fast, basic, and reliable. I'd definitely do samples for something like CPC clays or if I had to buy more than 300 chips of some other variety.
