Thread of Proofs // Add your custom chip proofs here (4 Viewers)

I have a set of these originally printed by ASM. I ordered an add-on through CPC recently to get a few more:

I once tried to save a collection of proofs of custom chips made. It turned out to be an enourmous task.
So why not create a thread for proofs only, so they could be stored here in one place.

No pics of actual chips here please!
Proofs only!
Add yours to the thread.

Ok My first go round. I am not sold on the A mold. I may go to the H mold.

Now I need to work on an inlay. I think I am set for my color choices and edge spots. This will be my first set. So definitely not my last.

I'm going to go with $0.25. $1. $5. $25. $100 and I'm going to make 10 $500 chips just because.

Advice and ideas welcome

This is a thread dedicated to chips that have already been produced and not chip designs that you are still working on.

Yeah, they sit in a box unused as I haven't played in over 8 years.
I always found it hard to get past the BCC flaws and actually enjoy the set for what it is, it was often easier to just use my other ex-casino sets that I liked.
Ahh well.......maybe the kids will enjoy them some day...

The big one is the $1, which have inlay color fading (also with the $20) so the bull is grey and the red denom is faded light red.
It doesn't sound like much but it is the flagship chip of the set and someone printed the inlays and just didn't give a s****.
I can handle some out of round inlays or other manufacturing quirks, that's a part of the process and they remade the non-denom chips that were of a different diameter, but that person that printed the inlays and put them on the chips just didnt care and that angers me the most.
Now, don't get me wrong some of the chips in the set are perfect, absolutely beautiful, I just wish the $1 was one of the perfect ones :)
:)

(sorry 2020 reply)
I disagree! do not let them sit as children toys :(
I remember these were shipped to me from BCC, and then I then reshipped to you.
& I always thought these were an awesome custom set! (TY for a sample set)
Although though I really do not collect samples, these are a keepers ;)
I saw no major flaws at the time ( but it was not like I opened them all up).

Warpage was the usual BCC BIG problem, but I really didn't inspect the lot.
This is not your complaint though; even though I remember you saying you had disappointment in the production I never asked why.
2000+ chips ? I do not recall, and all the pics I sent you were lost in the image-shack massacre.

Sitting unused for 8 years??? You ordered so many I thought you were running an underground room.
My samples look utterly perfect.
Break them out and play!
