I just got home from the grand opening — the chips exceeded my expectations. Shocked they went house mold (first stations casino to do so).

My new favorite $2 in town.

The “grand opening” chips are subtly different….I only saw a $25 and a $5.

Wish the inlays were better, but the colors work. And, it’s cool (in my opinion) that all of the inlays are different colors.

The chips I was able to gather are pictured…minty day one fresh!

Selling the complete 7 chip sample $100, both $25s, both $5s, a $2, and a $1…. $250 shipped conus.

If you want a partial sample, make an offer.

I think the $25 and $100 are pretty awful. I hate the yellow inlay on the $5. The $2 is kinda cool and I guess the $1 is ok. Props to them for clay instead of Icon.

Yeah, not for me. Since you asked, here’s my thoughts:

Inlays leave a lot to be desired and appear to be oversized, bad colors… they end up ruining the chips as noted below? F

House mold concept is cool, but on a thinner RHC edge it looks cheap. C-

$1 what should have been a great color combo looks washed out due to the thinner edge and bland inlay. D

$2 is hard to see, but again, the 18 spot is washed out by the inlay. C-

$5 snakebites are wasted here, the classic bright white on red looks like a cheap Alibaba/Amazon set. D

$25 is a total waste- it looks like a bad 80’s chip dug out from the crease of a crack den couch. F

$100 I get the inspiration, but very muted and bleh. C-

GPI: happy they didn’t go Icon, but what a waste. D

Security: Ain’t no one gonna fake that chip. Maybe their intent is to buy chips that few people will attempt to harvest or copy: A

Fortunately, chips are art and everyone has their own style, so happy if folks disagree with me.

Very happy to see the effort and expense by Durango Casino.

Between Durango, Sahara, Resorts World, Boston Encore, etc., some accessible house mold sets can be assembled.

I’d turn those Durango pink $2’s into $5’s and the Resorts World $2’s into $20’s, turn the Sahara $1’s into fracs, grab any of the white $1’s, and get the cards in the air!

I've seen better inlay designs from PCFers. lol I do like the custom mold and the edge spot progression. The flamingo 2s pop but I would've chosen a different spot color.
