Hi All,

Ive been given the chance to buy some Chips that are like those used in the Sting.

I know in the sting they used red, yellow, blue and cream/white. the set ive been offered as a lot of other colors as well they said that I can take the colors I want but was wondering do you thing should also take the non sting colors as well?

what are your thoughts ?

Thoughts are, if you really enjoy the movie or your players care? Get the same colors, that's fun. If you don't care about the movie/history, just get whatever colors you like.

Some people prefer specific colors because that's how casinos do it, but whatever works.

Buy all you can when you can. You can always sell the excess but you’ll probably never find more when you want them in the future. Unless they are some kind of chip produced for the masses. In which case you are not asking the right people.

Those are pretty neat! Cool colors, very roulette feel.

We refer to these as 'paranoids' (nothing to do with mental status) and they are vintage die-cut inlay chips. Since they are non-denominated, your crew will just have to remember what colour corresponds to what value, and that you don't change it up in the future.

The majority here would prefer denominated chips, especially for cash and when non-standard colour progressions (Nevada or California) are used.
