Am I wrong or didn’t the owner of Sidepot pass away some time ago? That would mean someone else is behind the name and just chooses to copy the originals in ceramic. Is that what’s happening here?

Dunno, maybe you’re thinking of Michael Patton

Did you mean Michael Patton? He was the owner of holdem poker chips

No I meant the owner of Sidepot. I dealt with Michael Patton and know his company was not Sidepot. I do know Sidepot owned the cigar and snifter mold, but cannot remember the original owner’s name. @BGinGA may remember.

Sorry, I’m getting old. They also owned the mold for the Paulson Noir line.

What original denomination used the same pattern as those blanks?

Although I’m sure whoever bought the peach blank inlay chips will be happy, I wouldn’t worry about missing out on it. They do not appear to be blanks in the traditional sense. Usually when I hear “blank chip” I think of chips that never had an inlay and could be milled or stamped. Instead, these appear to have plain white inlays. I’ve never attempted it, but I’ve heard that BCC inlays are difficult to remove and replace with a label. I’ve seen it done on suits mold chips but I’ve never heard of it being done on the C&S mold. With the way the round inlays go right up to or extend ever so slightly beyond the recessed area I cannot imagine that inlay removal results would be good on these.

All that being said, I hope the buyer is on PCF and we get to see what they wind up used for even if it’s something as simple as a stand in for missing InPlay $2s. C&S is a great mold, and those are cool one-off chips.
