Just finished to « read » the 12 pages of this epic thread. There is some gorgeous mixed set here... it makes me want to try a shot !
Maybe only Las Vegas « house mold » (relabel some 1 or 2 into $5s) with only 1$/2$/3$ denom from actual/open casinos so need some harvesting certainty ! Thinking about some Mirage, Harrah’s, Excalibur...

Not bad...
The yellow Bellagio spot picks up the almond from the Mirage chip, and the gray Stardust spots pick up the gray Bellagio spots. This set needs a 4th chip with some green in it though.

I like these better than the earlier Starbursts!
I lucked into 120 Tropicana baseball 5’s a few weeks ago on eBay and was able to fill the second rack with other Tropicana 5’s with different themes. These are out there and you can find deals if you are patient but with large inlays and all I’m sure they are not to everyone’s liking. Also my buddy @Boother36 got me 2 racks of MGM 1’s that cleaned up beautifully. I was looking for something to do with the quarters and twenties so here we go. Going to use these on Friday.

I bought mine for 3 dollars a chip. Also sold a rack for 3/chip.
And yes they come up every once in a while. Most of them I have seen are mint.

Nice set! but caution... many PCF’ers may be tilted by this set with their inability to handle mixed molds... lol.
i know... THC and RHC and Paulson Classics mold!! gotta admit, my head was spinning for a second there @churlbut18. But then again, i thought, how da hell can u hate on a guy who has acquired 3 racks of a Harrah's house mold $1 chip? even cooler that they're from New Orleans. Those Mardi Gras theme chips made me come around.

Yeah. I know. I didn't start out with the intention of making a mix-mold set, but I kept seeing temping deals in the classifieds. My ultimate goal is to accumulate a 1000 piece limit set of the Harrah's 1's.
Those Bally's are killer!
Yeah, the $1s and $5s are both awesome!
Have a great feel and heavy weight.. the $1s are 11.25g and the Caesars are the heaviest 39mm I have at 11.75g.
Think the used $5s are in the low-mid 10g area (have to weigh them).
Pretty certain the ES $.25s were based off the Bally's $1 (same spot colors, just a darker blue base color)
Originally had a vegas frac (Main St Station $.25 THC), but prefer the Caesars with the set, so now it is a house mold set.. still Nevada (y) :thumbsup:
