A couple deliveries while I was away at the new observatory:

This beauty to complete this issue from the Castaways in my collection. This had become a bit of a white whale for me. Good $5s and $100s are common enough on eBay that those were easy to get, but I hadn't seen this elusive beast for a couple years at least.

I'm just happy I can finally take it off my wanted list and reunite it with it's friends.

A couple new additions to my California Club collection. My long-time collecting focus including chips, dice, tokens and all assortment of other oddities that I should document and share here at some point.

The list chips from here that I don't have is getting smaller and smaller, making new additions increasingly infrequent. I had to buy a larger lot to fetch these specific two, but I expect that more than not anymore.

Time to rearrange the already rather full display case to make room for these two.

One week away at work and a very good internet connection makes this dragon a poor(er) boy.

While my OCD does appreciate being able to fill in gaps in my collection, my bank account doesn't so much.

I knew this was on the way before the California Club chips from yesterday arrived:

...so I hadn't started the display case re-arrange. The fact that I have one display case dedicated to just the south 100 block of Fremont St. in Las Vegas should speak volumes about my collecting habit and obsessions.

The fact that box, which holds 110 chips, is full with any additions beyond this requiring being thrown out of 'adult swim' should begin to hint at how big of a problem I really have!

So I guess this is what happens when you get access to the marketplace around the same time as a massive storm delays all mail for a week.

First, UPS delivered these.

And then while they were going to the chip spa...

USPS finally came through!
