I came up with a new way of protecting chips for sending them to @tulkas... encasing them in carbonite... well foam but it’s just as good  :ROFLMAO:
Remember my name at this year’s poker chip innovation awards!!

Just pop them in the microwave for ten minutes when you get them tulkas and you’ll be grand.

Looks like a big domino. ;)

Finally was able to reacquire my Big Al’s fracs that I let go of a few years ago. Poor @coolcustomer123 had to deal with my constant check-ins to see if he was ready to sell these back or not. Thank you for giving in sir! Much appreciated. And a single that @AWenger found...thank you. My set is at least playable now (after some cleaning and flattening).

Good for you! Didn’t think this was going to be possible.

Thanks man. It’s sort of a dream set because it has my name on it. And in my games the fivers will be my upper denoms so I like how they have the simple spots added to stand out.

Thanks man! Yeah it was touch and go for awhile ;)

Couldn’t give up on the dream you know. Not sure how many of these are out there but it was a very small casino which closed within a year so the chips are in great shape overall. Love em.

Thank you. Yeah we’ve shared a few conversations about these over the years. Thanks for listening.

I need to try my hand at flattening the $1 chips first. For some reason, some of them got pretty warped (the others are pretty solid though). Might put out a wanted add to see if I can pay someone to flatten them for me.

Just a single, but it completes one of my all time favorite nostalgic sample sets. History is rich in this place. No clue what most of the numbers mean on the cardboard though. Singles collectors are weird lol

Nothing like coming home from vacation and finding a couple boxes of chips... I figured they'd be here, and was thinking about them on the drive home.

First up, my prodigal son chips have returned! Sad that these chips are better traveled than I am. I took them to @Sprouty's game, they were mistakenly shipped to @Perthmike with some chips he bought from @detroitdad. Perthmike was in Vegas at the time, but he got them back stateside quickly and @WhiteMamba1646 got them here. Thanks to everyone who helped get these chips back home!

I also picked up some buttons from @Quicksilver-75's recent group buy. I've played with the other ones already, I think @Sprouty brought them to @Boother36's last cash game (or maybe they belong to Boother). Anyway, those are really nice, but these are awesome! They are big and hefty, but simple. And I love the way they are opposite colors, which makes it easy to determine the game, even if you can't read the button. Very pleased with how these turned out.
