Yes, I enjoy fishing. I will be in Vegas June 17-23, but will be home after that. Let me know if you want to try to get together.

Absolutely, my pops and I will be on the rod and reel pier every morning starting the 23rd and my cousins in a boat club so we might be going out with him a few times.

Jack Detroit dealer buttons came in the mail today.

Most of you probably know that UK Casinos aren't exactly known for their intricate chip designs, but back in the 50s, 60s and 70s things were a little different..

I recently picked up some jetons from the Curzon House Club to use for buy-ins, bounties and microstakes. The £5s are 48mm and the £10s 52mm. The Curzon was shut down following a series of raids across London in the late 70s.

Back then casinos were the stomping ground of the rich and famous. Many of the London venues of the time, and brands which exist today, were actually born from a series of illegal high stakes games that a select group of degenerate aristocratic millionaires played in, who went on to establish legit casinos when gambling laws loosened.

Much smaller stakes at play here today (and forgive the non matching denominations) but an interesting piece of UK history nonetheless!

Someday, I would like to be able to say that is how the Zombie Poker Club chain of casinos in Tennessee started.

Sadly, I have a better chance at winning the lottery. :(
