I was half way waiting on buying myself a grill and smoker until I updated the backyard patio, but I hit a mental wall a month ago, and I'll gladly cherish this thing! The Spirits have been on my browsing list for a while.
One thing that shocked me when I went from my POS Char-Broil to the Weber was how consistently it cooked and how even the temperatures were.
Mine's been out in the NJ winters for 2 decades, covered with a solid cover from Budge; looks brand new still...
If this was on any other forum, I'd look forward to seeing all the wonderful food you cook using this.Today is a good day! Birthday present from the wife. Amazon guy was not happy to be lugging this to the front door

However, I can't answer your question, as I've never had one cooked on a roller before, sadly. Hell, I didn't know such a thing even existed before joining this forum.
