The time has come.

After the sale of our old house for a tidy profit. We decided to splurge on finishing the 1300sqft basement in the new house and but up all the poker supplies we could possibly need for the foreseeable future.

I'm price sensitive. And I needed A LOT of chips. My wife and I like to run a variety of games and stakes ranging from .50/$1 limit up to $8/$16 limit, and .25/.25 NL/PL up to $1/$3 NL/PL. Not only is it hard to find enough high quality used Paulsons, it's also expensive. And ordering from CPC is the same problem. (Plus I'm not a fan of their color palette.) So Tinas were the choice. I had already purchased a 3 table set of tournament Sunset Beach card molds. So I figured this time I'd get a custom set of no mold textured chips.

The idea came pretty quickly as it seemed like an easy one to pull off, with a very minimalist look (which I'm a fan of). Some time spent on the Paulson design tool helped me nail down the colors (along with some inspiration from some other fantasy sets and casino sets.) Thanks to @justincarothers for putting in the order and @timinater for the art.

Disappointed - I thought this was going to be an Office Poker Room reveal!!!

But at least there were chips :cool

Great set - love the $1 and the $2 the most.

A poker room is in the works. Basement will be done late summer. Not sure how "office" themed it will be though.

Congrats on your chips. Very nice colors and I really admire the differences in the edge spots from chip to chip.
Please give your observation of how the chips handle? They appear to stack well in the pictures. Are they slippery at all? They have the look of smooth chips but they are textured?

I think the handle very well. They are textured, but have no mold. I find they seem more stable than the card molds. Will just need to see how they hold up over repeated use.

I'm going to get some of the no mold tex. chips and I too hope they hold up well. In your pics, they sure look good. Thanks for the reply and enjoy those chips!
