Interesting set, just listed and in Europe! You would probably want more 1s, unless you don't mind having the 2.5s in play. Also not sure why the 0.5 and 1s look so different from the rest of the set.

There are a bunch if you're patient. Vendor sales happen about once or twice a year from my minimal experience.

if you're budget is $800 you're pretty much limited to sets that have been posted, or similar. Not sure if any WTHC, THCs, or TRKs are going to be in that range. Mostly Tinas, Ceramics, or RHCs

Also I like cpc which I could buy straight from vendor but I don’t mind second hand or better even in Europe for cheaper!

Vintage ASM/Burt, many of which used some of the same molds that CPC owns now, come up fairly often and can be wonderful values.

Here's an example that's currently for sale, although the numbers and denominations don't work real well for your game. But it shows you what you can get for a much lower cost than Paulson THC or brand new CPC.

Really nice looking real compressed clay chips in good condition for $1.50 per chip.

My first clay set was vintage chips from the 1970s Dragonara Malta casino and I paid about $1.25 a chip. Deals can be found if you watch the classifieds every day. Just be aware that the very best deals don't sit very long. So you need to see it fairly quickly, then act! You can't sit here and just wait for others to bring sets to you. Then much of what you are getting offered is sets that the owners are having trouble selling elsewhere. So be careful of what is offered to you.

you can put up a want ad, but i dont know if your budget could get them. The $5s are considered the ugliest chips though since they have a giant inlay. They are also very used....the $25s and $100s will probably cost you more than you're looking for per chip.
