Adding my first set circa 2011 to PCF:

This is a 500 chip cash set, hot stamped on a solid ASM hourglass mold with a California color scheme. Since I used solid chips, I wanted to maximize variation through multiple stamps and complementary colors. Each denomination shows a different hound dog breed in a large stamp on the front. The name of the club and the denomination is stamped on the back. The same dog breed is repeated in a smaller text divider on the back (look closely!). The silver foil hot stamp reflects light nicely and brightens up the pots.

It's a smaller set and I plan to use it for a variety of cash games. The breakdown is optimized for a single table that could comfortably play blinds between 25¢/25¢ and $1/$2. I've left the light chocolate chip non-denominated to move between 25¢, 50¢ and even swing to a $100 chip if need be in a deep $1/$2 game. The set consists of:

130 - Light Chocolate
170 - Light Blue ($1)
160 - Canary Yellow ($5)
40 - Retro Lavender ($25)

I've already put them to use in my home game and everyone appreciated them. There was a lot of betting by breed, i.e. "I bet three Beagles" or "I raise two Elkhounds" which added a layer of humor to the game. I even managed to avoid the first time chip use curse and finished ahead one buy-in. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the way they look and play.

I hadn't noticed that the dogs were repeated before - n8ce touch! :)

beautiful chips. I love solid ASM's. The Chocolates were my favorite.............damn my chip disease.

Very nice! Did ASM do the stamping or did you have them stamped aftermarket?

I was just commenting this past weekend that I just didn't like the hourglass mold. I stand humbly corrected. Minimalist Hot Stamp, and Solids add to the hourglass and the hourglass does not clutter the design.

The splashed pot pic is desktop worthy material

Thanks. These were my first love! I've played with these a ton and still love the old school look and way the light shines off the hot stamp. Probably my favorite chip to put in play tbh.

Oh and feel free to use it as desktop background. I did for a long time :)

Really nice.... The more I look at chips, the more I appreciate solid chips.
Well Done!

I was the reverse. When I first began I liked super minimal chips...sometimes just blank no molds and I've grown to appreciate more complex chips. I think really good designs balance complexity and simplicity effortlessly.

I think it's time for me to free up some funds so I can do something similar. Love the solid hotstamps.
