I love the inlay and the spot progression you chose. Another great addition to The Hitching Post! Can't wait to see action shots of this set.

Congrats, sir! Really, really love how the 25k turned out, and the 100k and 500k look great in stacks! I also love that you made a chip with a saturn base look fantastic. The path to the promise land with that color is narrow and perilous, but you navigated it like the pro you are.

Were you at the table at Bert’s when we had the big debate about canary base vs Saturn? We actually felt like the green in the Saturn worked for us in this case.

Love them, Tom! They came out even better than expected, brother.

Can’t wait to ship those stacks left and right with you and the gang!

^^ This, big-time. First words I muttered when viewing the pics. Incredible, really.

All of them are knockouts, however; each chip is outstanding on it's own merits while still meshing as a set. Inlay is crystal clear (and the denom values are not often seen), allowing the creative use of some very nice alternate colors.

Very hard to pick a single favorite, but it just might be that saturn 25k chip..... although the maroon 5k is a real stunner, too. And of course tiger/peacock is always a striking combo. Hell yeah, I like 'em all. :)

Nice job, Tom! Looking forward to seeing and getting these into play.

I was, yes. If memory serves, the debate was continuity/progression vs. "best chip possible in the slot". The majority leaned toward "best chip possible" which was saturn. I recall being on the fence a little bit with initially a slight lean away from the majority - both options would have worked well, but I'm generally terrified of a saturn base which probably biased my thinking. Regardless, I think your decision was the right one in the end.

@flipupchipup had a great comment on the 5K, he said it just looked like the quintessential Hitching Post chip. The 25K was the hardest chip in the set. We sat around a table at Bert’s meetup and went back and forth for like an hour.

Congrats on the new set! Some really unique colors, I really like the maroon 5k.

No 1,000,000 chip?? Pffffttt.

:wow: Very nice all around. Each chip is stunning, and they go quite well together. Well done sir.

Very cool set, and love to see the Saturn. I gotta say I'm so disappointed to see the speed bump still being an issue after they said they'd fix the buffer wheels. Regardless, another champion set for Mr. Tree's magic chip making machine!
