Quality seems better than my last batch (see earlier in this thread for those details), but the only issue I have so far is that a whole lot of the green chips have cupped edges. Concave. Like the finishing/sanding process after they come out of the mold didn't go as planned? IDK how to explain it. Here is a photo. Look at the concave edge. I haven't had any chips in any of my previous orders come like this before. But so many of the green chips have this. I guess/hope the edges will wear down a bit as they get played with? Other than that, no issues.

Bummer. That thread was a year and a half ago and still there are issues

I have plenty of the "speed bump" chips, and plenty of the "concave" chip edge, which I didnt see mentioned in the thread link you posted.

You should post in that thread about the issue with your chips, and also let CPC know.

Chip edges should be square - anything else is a defect.

I contacted David and he remedied things quickly with the handful of chips that had unfinished edges. Thanks David!

I am still waiting for them to put the mold in for my oversized $1000 chips. Can't wait to get those.

For now, I would like to introduce you to the new $500 chip.

The legend grows!! Still a bummer to hear the non-flar edges an issue that won't die, but obviously the customer service at CPC is top notch.

Can't wait to see the oversized $1k chip!! Closing in on 100 racks... When's the grand opening for the rest of the casino?

Yea, David was unaware that this was still even an issue, and made things right very quickly. He replied back to my emails within hours.

The $1k chip will be awesome for sure. I'm not sure if I will ever hit 100 racks in the Bee Room set... Unless I order 20 racks of the yellow $20 chip I've been mocking up and dreaming about for a while now. That may be in the future. I wonder if this set will ever be "finished".

I've only had the green chips for maybe 2 weeks, and we've already played some 50/100 with them 4x.

It's been a year and half since I placed my order, and I'm still waiting on my rack of $1000 pumpkins. For the last few months, David has been telling me "another few weeks" or "another month or so". I am hoping they come soon.

The 44mm pumpkins finally showed up yesterday. Placed the order in Oct 2019 and received in Feb 2021.

I bought an oversized rack off somebody here on the forums who believed the chips would fit, but they don't. I can only fit 19 chips in each barrel. If I push super hard and scrape the chips, I can manage for force the 20th chip in, but then they dont all seat at the bottom of the rack. I just measured the rack, and it is 67.85mm per barrel, and my CPC chips average about 68.8mm per barrel of chips. If anybody here can direct me to a place I can buy a rack for 44mm chips with 69mm barrel widths, please let me know!

That $1000 is a pretty, pretty chip.
The whole set is great and show that you don’t have to have crazy edge spots and a thousand colours to be awesome.

My next addition is nice chairs. I’ve been comparing Gasser, Gary Platt, Majestic, and others.

Finally got it done. I got 10 stackable players chairs, and 1 adjustable dealer chair with wheels. Huge upgrade over my old chairs, and very heavy duty. Highly recommended. Took about 12 weeks for them to make.

The prices on these vary so wildly due to the fact that they offer dozens of different models, and then for each model, you can choose different levels of fabrics, different frames, whether or not you want wheels or foot rests, frame colors, feet type, etc (similar to asking how much per chip for a custom CPC -- it depends on edge spot complexity, inlays or not, size, weighted or not).

But these chairs, with my options, were $280 for the stackable players chairs and $395 for the dealer chair, then add a few hundred in tax, and add $945 for freight lift-gate shipping from Nevada to Virginia. $4400 all-in for these chairs (10 players chairs and 1 dealer chair).

Having played at the Bee Room, I can say from actual experience that the chips, table, chairs and room are all top notch. Awesome set up!
