Agree with this. I wouldn't chance it for anything over $50. Maybe pay with a credit card though so you can dispute it.

I'm sure it's a long, dragged out process, but Paypal will take care of you, right? Obviously nobody wants to be out $1500 foor a couple of months, but I feel pretty good paying with paypal on eBay - shouldn't I?

Also, gorgeous chips. I just asked about these a couple of weeks ago, wondering if anybody had a playable set.

Anytime you're not buying from someone you know (or has near perfect feedback) use a credit card. Paypal has often used questionable tactics with regard to refunds and disputes. You might be 100% in the right and have the dispute denied and a lengthy process.

Use a credit card: Dispute the transaction and you're done. Paypal will yank it from the seller. No need to worry if Paypal will take your side.

I'll spare you the long story: received an empty/torn box from USPS that was supposed to have chips... Dispute denied. Now I use a credit card.
