Very cool. I have a handful of these from the chiptalk days. The edges aren’t as nice as the ones here. I’ll probably jump in on 10 chips of version 1.

So how do you use these? Toss them at someone who's disrupting the game with excessive talking?

To help me decide the quantity, could some of you explain how you intend to use these? I have no idea what to do with them, but I know I need these chips.

I plan to use them as time chips.

Thoughts are that in a tournament have people buy as many as they want for $2 each and that money goes in a bad beat/high hand/ bubble boy pot... whatever the group likes and when you play one all talking stops and the 1 minute timer starts... possibilities are endless, similar to show em or rabbit hunting buttons... if it doesnt work out just like @Jeff they make great gifts for people that dont have card/chip covers

Here are some additional responses

In a cash game, toss it at someone who is holding up the game when action is one them. They have to pay a 2xBB fine into the pot and are not allowed to talk again until they do so.

I think that’s too subjective being at the discretion of the host. I don’t want it to be available just for the host to possibly tilt others.

For our house, I’m thinking any hand above a certain threshold (maybe full house and up), gets one to use whenever they want. Whoever they throw it at can’t talk until BB hits them. My group are a**holes though, so I’m guessing they’d save em up and all hit the same person for five or six rotations.

Hmmmm....house rule: every time someone folds and after the hand says “ohh awww I would’ve won, shoulda stayed in,” they get a stfu chip. On the rare chance we get a game going, the same 2-3 guys say that after every single hand they fold.

I had these in 39mm and there was no problem reading the text.

Also, as for uses, IIRC, the story was a dealer at a card room had a few of them in his rack... When people would slow the action down because they weren't paying attention, he'd toss one at them and the table would laugh.... The dealer got his point across and kept the action moving.

They don't have a 'use' the way a other buttons do... Just kinda a gag.
