What are your thoughts on having two chips make up 50 percent of your starting stack?

12 T-25
12 T-100
5 T-500
6 T1,000
2 T-5,000

Or is it better to load up T 1,000 chips

12 T-25
12 T-100
5 T-500
11 T-1,000
1 T-5,000

I have always used the first method. Additional T-1000 chips will be added to players stacks as you race off chips and players bust.
You could start everyone out with three stacks of 12.

12 T-25
12 T-100
3 T-500
7 T1,000
2 T-5,000

Six T1000 chips per player is plenty so long as you are chipping-up the T25/T100 chips with T1000s. Replacing the T500 chips with T5000s should result in an optimum number of T1000 and T5000 chips in play in late levels of the tournament.

I've always used the first option and never had issues. Then like 5 minutes before the end of levels before color ups I'll color up whatever chips I can in each pot
