Ok... it’s time finally sell my Starbursts. I love the colors, but don’t really have a need for them.

One rack of each

Peach

Sky Blue - small lot

Asking $125/ rack plus shipping

$450 gets them all (plus shipping)

It would appear that further optimism would be futile, and that I would be better off to simply accept the fact that I have been taken for $133.00 (along with two other members that have apparently suffered the same fate as me) and will not be seeing these chips anytime soon. Thankfully, it was only $133.00.....

Lessons learned: (1) Just because someone has a positive feedback rating and has been a member for a year should not be taken to mean that there are not still inherent risks with sending money to them electronically; and (2) pay the fees associated with a "regular" PayPal transaction and avoid F & F if there is any concern that you will need recourse for the transaction in the future.

Over a month and still no word from seller and no chips. Seems like no recourse either. PayPal F & F is not the way to do transactions. Fortunately I am out only a small amount of money. Looks like I have to write this off. I am very disappointed in the total lack of communication after the sale.

My chips did arrive over the weekend! So there is some hope. Looked like it was shipped via his office's mail system and the posting dates showed that it took awhile to make it out the door. He did include some extra chips for the inconvenience of the long delay.

I have requested a return of my funds and tracking info for chips he said he shipped (and would get tracking info for) after he reappeared and promised to make things right, but he had chosen to ignore me instead. I suspect he never owned the chips he advertised for sale in the first place.

I don't plan on devoting any more time to this matter. I have accepted the fact that he has stolen $133.00 dollars from me, and simply hope that when he reappears on here using a different name that somebody else does not fall victim to him.

Buyer beware.

Just wanted to share that I did receive my chips after all - I was out of town for a long time so I couldn't check earlier, but they arrived in good condition and well wrapped. Hopefully @Statesvegas will also get the chips he ordered.

Well over two months now since i paid for the chips. I’ve asked for status updates form him, tracking info he promised and even a refund of my money. No response, no chips even though He is still on PCF frequently. Glad you eventually got yours.

As @Statesvegas said, the seller is frequently connected. I can understand that he can have life trouble, some difficulty, no time,... but he have to respond to the buyer and give explanations. Ghosted a buyer is not correct and fair, if you have time to check PCF threads you have time to respond to your buyer. Personally, I can't trust this kind of seller.

As an update and in the interest of full disclosure, the seller in this ad ultimately refunded my money to me a week or two ago.
