Hi,
I really like hotstamp chips and more and more I'm considering this route for my first custom set.
This would be a cash set.
I want it to be simple and old-school with vivid colors.
So more and more I'm considering a hotstamp cash set with cali colors.
I have 2 ideas :
Since the "The Post" (San José) chips are one my all time favourite, I was thinking of doing a similar set with "KID" written on a face and the denom on the other face.
The other idea would be a tribute of a place I visited while on Route 66 last year. Since it'd be a Cali colors set, I thought of a set on the "Calico" theme.
Calico "Ghost" town is an old mining 'town' which is now a small amusement park / museum.
I wanted to also feature "Dorsey", one of the famous characters of this town.

What do you think ?
Regarding the dog, I've considered to make it "plain" and try to have some relief on his legs, tail, ... but preferred a simple "line design".
